What we keep

TravelEssentials needs no account and stores almost nothing about you.

Your country

We read the country of your connection (provided by our host, Vercel) to pre-select your home country. It is saved in a cookie (ci_home) on your device for one year, never on our servers. You can change it on any card.

Language and theme

Your language choice is saved in a cookie (lang), your Day/Night choice in your browser's local storage.

Visitor counter

The counter at the bottom of each page counts one visit per connection per day, by country. It keeps a one-way fingerprint of the day and connection until the next day, never your IP address, and sets no cookie.

Analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without identifying you.

Advertising

Pages may show Google ads. Google asks for your consent first where the law requires it, through its certified consent message; you can change your choice from the “Privacy and cookie settings” link Google shows. Questions: contact@travelessentials.app.
